Excellent 60 watt solar panel
1 of 1 found this helpful Really happy with this panel I always make my battery boxes out of esky’s and this particular esky has 3x 9.5 amp hour batteries in it . This solar panel starts charging it as early as 07:00am in the morning I have a 15 amp solar controller attached to it for now until my 10 amp solar controller arrives and its adjustable so I can set it to trickle charge at 13.6 or charge it on 14.4 or any number and the panel easily pumps power into the 3 batteries. I have 2 x USB outlets and 2 x 12 volt outlets on the esky and all fused . With this esky I use alligator clamps when charging only because all the attachments are water proof and I can take it boating or anywhere including the rain otherwise I would have the Anderson plug hardwired permanently like my bigger esky’s . The 60 watt panel recharges this battery pack so effectively that I just set the controller to trickle charge every day as it doesn’t need to be set to 14.4 v or required higher setting. I run 3 x 5 volt lights on this every night at home and charge it back up with the 60 watt panel. Having 3 smaller batteries makes it easier for the panel to charge it quicker than just having 1 larger batteries like in some of my other applications. This 60 watt solar panel is perfect for this lunchbox esky .. I added a couple of photos of this particular set up . I love solar and batteries they are just so practical.
POST UPDATE ON THIS POST FROM NEARLY 3 YEARS AGO OR 60 WATT SOLAR PANEL
Still working beautifully hasn’t missed a beat. There was a period of 3 months when I didn’t have any load on the battery/ solar panel so I just turned down the charging voltage to around 13.6 volts and had no problems. I’m using it again full time and it’s sitting comfortable on around 14.4 volts .. This solar panel hasn’t missed a beat in nearly 3 years. The date today is 09/07/2020

Victron connect Bluetooth 5amp charger
Had 3 x 9.0 amp AGM Batteries connected together they were dying ( purchased batteries in 2016 I’d charge them an by the next day after turning off the charger ( under no load) it would drop down to 12.1 volts
I put this Victron Connect 12v 5 amp charger on it for 10 hours and now they hold charge at 12.7 volts it saved my batteries 🔋 They are reconditioned like brand new again
I’ve just purchased the Victron Connect 15 amp to charge my larger 135 amp hour lithium and my 150 amp hour AGM Very impressed with Victron I wouldn’t waste my money on any other charger again definitely recommend Viltron

Camplux 8 litre per minute shower lpg
Great hot water for a shower I’m really impressed I would like to find the attachment so I can use a 1lb propane bottle on it would make it great for a quick weekend overall I’m really impressed and it is now one of my must have camping gadgets ✅⭐️ Just want to add something important I put 2 D sized semi used batteries 🔋 in it upon start up but it wouldn’t start even though they seemed powerful enough so make sure you buy brand new batteries 🔋 and carry a spare set when camping 🏕 otherwise it will never ignite or start ..
