Good activity tracker with so so HRM
I had been trying a Microsoft Band 2 and was loving it but the MS Band was showing a lot of wear after just a week. Also that sucker is heavy and sometimes hurt after wearing it for a couple of days straight.
The HRM on the Band 2 was not terribly accurate either, showing my HR to be about 20 to 50 bpm less than a Scoshe Rhythm+ and a Polar chest strap I was using for comparison (The Rhythm and Polar were about the same within a couple of bpm).
Deciding to dumb it down and get an activity tracker w/ HRM that I would use for average HR only, I got this one. It's much more comfortable than the MS Band 2, significantly lighter and just as functional. I do miss the full amoled color screen of the band 2 but have not had any pain or chafing wearing this band (now for almost 3 weeks straight) continously except for charging. Speaking of charging, the battery lasts for about 4 days with 1 to 2 workouts per day. This is more than double the MS Band 2. I do also miss the MS Health App. It seems to have more comprehensive stats and is easier and more intuitive to navigate that the Garmin Connect app on my android phone.
All in all, I like the band, the comfort, the weight and as long as you take the heart rate reported with a grain of salt, fairly accurate.
