Great variable wheels
I've recently returned to doing some leather work after a 10 - 12 year hiatus. And I've had a Craftool Spacer with a fixed wheel for years, and it's been perfect for most of what I do. However, you do need a different stitch now and then. Now I can make those changes when I need to.

Timeless
The book is timeless. Sure it was written a number of years ago but its still leather work, little has changed and Al Stohlman was a great instructor and artist. Truly one of the best.
