By far the best A/V reciever for the money. Huge performance/fair price!!
I have been a loyal Onkyo customer for 20 years. I've owned many different models, the last was a SR608. The HDMI board went and they were not helpful at all. I always wanted to try Denon so I did a lot of research. It was hard for me to get away from Onkyo and I almost ordered a SR828. I'm so VERY GLAD I did not!! This Denon has taken my home theatre to a new level!! After having HDMI problems I was very leery of any model and it's HDMI capabilities. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. The HDMI switching and pass through work flawlessly. I'm an advanced user and do utilize most of the functions. Everything works great!! The integration via a netgear adapter to my home network is fantastic. Air Play works great and is a huge plus as my wife and myself are big Apple fans. Another nifty feature is the Deremote App I purchased (not Denons), it gives absolute control over all settings. The Audessy XT32 is another must have, it brought new life to my speakers. If you are considering this receiver do not hesitate!!! It was everything I expected and more.
