SteelSeries Rival 600 Gaming Mouse RGB LED Wired USB Dual Sensor 12000DPI

Fantastic mouse for FPS gaming and great all-rounder.
Fantastic mouse for FPS gaming and great all-rounder. The top of the line sensor and the ability to add and remove weight is what makes this mouse worth the high price. The sensor on this mouse is probably the best I've ever used, slightly better than the Deathadder Elite only due to the reduced movement when picking up the mouse and putting it back down. Without the weights this mouse weighs about 98g which is on par with the Razer Deathadder, but you can add weights all the way up to around 130g, or anywhere in between. The weights can also be used to balance the mouse to your liking although I can say the balance is just fine without the weights. The rubber cable is detachable which makes it replaceable however Steel Series do not appear to offer this on their website yet. The lighting looks great and the software is fairly easy to use and reliable. The only things I would change is perhaps the side grips. While the silicone grips are adequate I personally prefer a textured rubber as the silicone is a bit more slippery which might be an issue if you play with all the weights in the mouse at low dpi/sensitivity. The sides of the mouse are modular so I would really like to see Steel Series sell optional sides with textured rubber as a separately purchasable product.
