Best sound canceling
1 of 1 found this helpful These older models cancel sound for a longer period of time vs the newer bluetooth models. Also when the battery dies you can still listen to music unlike the bluetooth models. Sound quality is good. For some reason the earbud QC20 models reproduce bass better than the brand new over the Ear bluetooth models. And the QC20's almost block out as much sound as the new over the ear bluetooth models. This is the best sounding and best noising canceling overall in the Bose line up. As far as sound cancelling there's nothing out there that can compare to Bose. Sound Quality is good. But there are other earbuds that sound better. But the fact that all that ambient noise is blocked out the Bose sound better as your immersed in just music and not background noise.

Not as good as the older IPod
Yes this shuffle version has play lists... but it has no fast forward and you can not hook it up to an AUX port in your car because the play button is on the ear piece.
Save your money and buy the older square version or the nano
