A great biography of a modern day role model
Mr. Hohler was given almost unlimited access to Christa McAuliffe during the selection process and training for NASA's "Teacher in Space",space flight participant program. Providing a look at Christa's early childhood and upbringing, family involvement, her love and commitment to Girl Scouts and her faith that help developed the beloved Teacher, as well as Wife and mother that caught the dreams of ordinary Americans who found at last someone they could relate to and someone that young people could look to as a role model. This book, along with A JOURNAL FOR CHRISTA by her mother, Grace Corrigan,completes this look at a beloved person whose life was cut short far to early.

A Cute movie
This movie was done for television although is certainly isn't the Best work Miss Hepburn has done, it is certainly better than "SPITFIRE" and most anything else on TV these days.
The story is about an author who is felt to be out of touch with the REAL World and a bet is taken- Miss Lansing Stay with a ordinary family for a week without killing anyone- OR them killing her!- The small house, 3 children-Goth Daughter,teen-#1 son,over achiever and crying toddler- The husband-who is liked by the xerox gal at work too much- and the wife, who is addicted to Soap operas- Middle class neighborhood and friends with the Penthouse living Laura Lansing makes for some fun- BATHROOM SCHEDULES, Moving furniture, and telling crying toddler that he will be put in a suitcase if he doesn't stop crying is just part of the fun-

A BIG disappointment
There have been several videos out on the life of Truman Capote- And being videos ABOUT Truman Capote they have a lot of video OF Truman Capote. NOT SO with this video- It starts out with a small clip of an AWESOME interview with Tru after the MURDER IN COLD BLOOD comes out, sadly it's only a very small clip.
If you know nothing about this author then this would be a good beginning as there is a lot of information about him and some of his books but on the whole- especially if you are a big fan of Capote- then save you pennies children and look for the on entitled "The Tiny Terror" Truman Capote from A&E.
