Promising price but quality and usability not there

Hard to say that this item is a good value. It's supposed to be a NAS enclosure and this function is just about impossible to set up. It never worked and even though I referred to the manual (written in a very poor English) I have never been able to have it work as a NAS. As an external enclosure, it's fine but we can find a lot of external enclosures at this price level. As for the Wifi function, it works as long as all you want to do is use it wirelessly to go in the internet. Don't even think of using this function to watch the content of the HDD in another room wirelessly, it does not work. The enclosure can be used to make a wifi bridge to the internet but this function is already on my router, so no big deal here once more. One more point, I could not use a 4 TB HDD in this enclosure. In conclusion, keep away from this material, it's not worth it.
