Works as advertised with a little bit of wiggling.
Did the job - was able to remove the CD player in my 2007 S5. Was a bit tricky at first, but make sure you watch a few videos first to ensure that you use them correctly. You actually have to insert then move them to slide the unit out.
Only minor complaint is that the outer rings became a little misshapen, but I suppose they are neccessarily made of slim material.
