1 of 1 found this helpful The MDF boards have a very toxic heavy smell, that does not go away, it is so strong it makes you sick! We have put them outside in the fresh air and sun for several days to air the smell out but nothing is helping. Anything that you put in the drawers absorbs that horrible smell. It is so bad that we cannot have it in the bedroom, which is the whole reason we bought them for. If we knew this we would have never got them! Complete waste of money!
