Great - when it works!
This is our third unit. We absolutely love the convenience of making fresh muffins for breakfast. And this unit does the job. BUT- every one of these that we have purchase before this one have failed. The thermostat that controls the temperature sticks to the ON state, burning the contents. The second one we bought had warped plates, requiring us to put a gallon paint can on top to seal it so it cooked properly. So 5-stars for handiness and 1-star for quality and reliability. They should offer a semi-annual subscription!

I liked it!
Before I begin remember - cheap and small! For its size I am quite pleased. Good high freq. Strong in the mid to upper bass areas. I got an EQ software and massaged the daylights out of it. Now quite acceptable for the cost. I would buy again. Neatest thing is it fits under my monitor so desk space is not used.

Should'a bought one long ago.
I use this type of device regularly. Mostly burgers - cow and salmon. The biggest beef (no pun) I've had with these is they smash my one-of burgers. This one is perfect. Also, I have found so far that the cooking surfaces on it clean better and seem to hold up to use. I actually gave a new one of the high-end G.F. grills away because it did not perform well on several counts. Summary of goods: Heats up fast, cleans well, grill lines are more shallow, high temperature plates, light lid, compact. One issue is that the plate temperature is on the higher end. As the food product nears the end of the cooking cycle, I actually unplug it so it cooks through w/o charring the outsides. I would, however, prefer to have the temp high than too low (like the other one I gave away).
