Does the job.
I like the LCD display, easy to read. 1571 button flashes when there is a message so you don't have to pick up the receiver to check for messages. Speakerphone is louder than my previous (cheap) phone but I would like it louder still. However that would probably require mains adaptor and would also by much more expensive. I got this for half the normal price- £12 incl. postage rather than £24, so happy with price and function of item.

Not as Good as E.V. Rieu
Nice layout on the page- verse style. Room to make notes in margin. There is a brief commentary in the back on each book of the Iliad. I bought this version because I saw cheap copy of Postlethwaite's extensive commentary on Lattimore's Iliad (£4. in a 2nd hand bookshop) then this book cost £11.50.
I dug out an old tatty copy of E.V. Rieu's version in Penguin Classics. Coincidentally, published one year before Lattimore. I think Rieu's is more readable, though less luxurious in quality of paper and layout of the type. However more compact. And I just looked at Amazon and there are plenty of 2nd hand copies for 1p.
Please note, Ebay, that this book here I got cheaper from you than I could on Amazon.

High quality : low price.
Good tone . Strings are bright- the old fashioned way. Good value.
