Awesome Product - King of Blenders
1 of 1 found this helpful This product isn't cheap, but when you pay the money you will appreciate why you did - no buyers remorse, just powerful kit doing what it does best - you can see the quality. It puts a smile on my face when I use it because of the pure grunt it has - I have made nut butters (peanut paste or peanut butter) - hazelnut, almond, cashew and peanut; dips, soups (absolutely piping hot - no microwave or saucepan needed here if you don't want to). This thing has power (lots of it) and it is loud'ish when at max speed (but unless you are making smoothies at 3 in the morning, it shouldn't be a problem). I have thrown in a bowl of raw cut pumpkin, some stock, herbs, salt and pepper - flicked the switch and in 5 minutes, come back and you have steaming hot smooth pumpkin soup without a trace of lumps or flesh or bits and it is whipped to a fluffy consistency(and there is no internal element to burn out). Smoothies are the same - throw everything in raw, skin and all - nothing at the end but pure smoothie you can strain and find nothing. I also purchased some other Vitamix accessories so I have a dry and a wet mini container for making flours or grinding coffee, smaller smoothies, that sort of thing. My daughter made frozen fruit gelato and sorbet. All in all if I hadn't of purchased cheaper ones in the past and just lashed out and got this, I would have been so far in front. My Vitamix 750 Pro has operated flawlessly so far after a few months - I am very happy with this product and the self clean makes life even easier. Lash out and just get one, you won't regret it - there is nothing I have tested that friends have (in good quality similar products) that comes close - when deciding to buy this product, this is not a purchase it is a long term investment, as it should keep performing optimally for years. Think of this when calculating cost and the amount of uses for it. Final Word - If this got stolen tomorrow, would I go out and get another one - Hell Yeah, a definitive yes without hesitation.
