A great film that fills in the whole true story.
This is a Discovery channel show that tells the real story of the movie "Captain Phillips". It covers the actions of the crew with interviews and shots of where they hid and how they suffered from heat and other things. It fills in what the movie treated lightly or not at all.I thought it was an excellent presentation of the very difficult job the Navy had and how well the Seals dis an impossible job. 3 shots were accurate and not one struck Phillips. An amazing feat. It is well the viewing and helps raise the enjoyment of the movie.

I truly enjoyed this film very much. As this battle was the end of the war in the sense that the South couldn't ever mound a serious offensive ever again. It points out well the series of errors General Lee made that turned the war. The inability or unwillingness to take the high ground was a costly error as was the decision not to follow The advice of Longstreet to march on Washington when it was wide open and he had the chance and finally Pickett's charge which should never had been done. It also shows how the rebs loved Lee and will do or follow him anywhere, It also show that Cannon fire was not the best thing the Army could do. It also shows the luck the North had when Burford denied the south the High ground early in the battle, I thought that the acting was excellent and the script and I enjoyed the music. The battles were well done and showed how close formation in open ground was not a wise battle plan. It also showed the rebs as soliders of great courage and devotion to their cause. It was an excellent movie to me. with a great cast> I wonder if they will do the third movie as was intended. It isa film that you can watch over and over again and still learn or see something differently and truly enjoy.
