Only useful on same circuit, doesn't work over longer (25m) power runs.

Nowhere in the packaging did it mention that it was limited by wiring distance. What I wanted was to run LAN out to the metal shed, about 10m away from the house and 15m from the WiFi router in a straight line..However by the time the signal went to the mains meter box and then out to the shed the signal was causing the Red LED to flash, indicating extremely low bandwidth and I couldn't get it to work. When tested inside the house on the same circuit it was fine, however so did the WiFi at this range.

Better than many

There are quite a few Teveo Tarantula kits around and this seems seems better than most. All of the parts were there plus spares and plus some of the upgrade kits such as aluminium corner brackets. The quality of all parts was very good and everything fitted together well with the final product being very square and producing good quality prints. As with all kits the final quality of the assembled product will depend on taking it easy, watching the assembly videos before each stage and understanding how each stage contributes to the final product. Compared to many issues experienced by Tevo Tarantula builders on the support groups I didn't experience any of the problems others have and I put a fair bit of that down to the quality on this kit.
