Many of the embellishment accessories come in different finishes including silver, gold, rose gold, and black. Others are adorned with semi-precious gemstones, including turquoise, which is a very popular stone for leathercraft accessories.

In order to create the pieces you want there are some traditional leathercraft tools and supplies that are needed. For anyone who is into leathercrafting, beginners or experts, you will all need these tools to make whatever projects you intend to create. Some of the tools include a round knife, rotary cutter, edge bevelers, diamond chisels, groovers and creasers, stitching awl, edge burnisher, stitching needle, stitching horse, rubber hammer, punches, and rivet setters. A round knife is versatile in cutting and is great at skiving, but does take practice in learning how to use. A rotary cutter is easy to use and cheap which makes it great for beginners. Edge bevelers are sharp notches that help to remove parts of your edges. These work with thicker leathers and come in a variety of size and angles. Diamond chisels punch stitching holes all the way through the leather. They come in a variety of sizes and widths. An edge burnisher melts fibres on the edge of the leather, ensuring that they won’t fray. A rubber hammer combines with punches, rivet setters and tooling to create designs.
