Embrace minimalism with the Nike Dualtone Racer

One of the major features of the Nike Dualtone Racer is its minimalistic style and construction. The shoe's advanced technology has created a running shoe that is both comfortable and durable without added weight or bulk.

History of the Nike Dualtone Racer

The Nike Dualtone Racer was released in February 2012 and made its debut at the London Olympic games. It spurred on in popularity as the athletes who were sponsored by Nike gained top placements in the games.

The design came about as a result of the need for a more durable running shoe than the Flyknit racer. This development took over ten years of research working with athletes by Nike.

The research resulted in the creation of one of the lightest and best-fitting running shoes that Nike has ever produced.

Major features of the Nike Dualtone Racer

Designed also for casual wear, Nike's Dualtone Racer features a two-tone breathable mesh upper. It's a one-piece upper to encompass the minimalistic style and to reduce waste at the same time. The stitching on the upper is purely decorative.

To add to the comfort of these sneakers, there's a padded lining on the ankles. The heel tab is made from black suede material and features a pull tab and 3M reflective detail.

These Nike men's sneakers also incorporate dual-density cushioning for additional comfort underfoot. Plus, the outer sole is made from webbed rubber to give good traction and durability.

Adding to the minimalistic style, these sneakers also come with flat laces.

Nike Dualtone Racers are available in various colourways too. These include traditional black and white as well as subtle shades of grey, and more vibrant reds. Other colours include white with different coloured swooshes and black, also with swooshes in bright, contrasting colours.
