What Maintenance Do Dog Water Fountains Need?
As with a standard water bowl, you will still need to clean components regularly to prevent any build-up of bacteria and keep surfaces clean.
- With filtration models, you will need to replace filters from time to time.
- Ceramic dog water fountains and stainless steel dog water fountains are easy to care for and easily washed.
- Plastic dog water fountains are lightweight and need checking for occasional scratches, as bacteria can build up if damaged.
