Tip
You don't need any special equipment to print labels – just use normal A4 paper in your standard printer and tape them to your package.

Changing the order delivery address

To be protected as a seller under eBay Money Back Guarantee, you should only send orders to the address specified by the buyer at checkout. If a buyer contacts you and asks you to post their item to a different address, you can still do so, but you won't be protected if the buyer opens an eBay Money Back Guarantee claim.

The best option is to cancel the transaction; the buyer can then repurchase the item and check out with the correct delivery address.

What you can change

• You can make minor typo or formatting corrections to the address provided by the buyer. For example:
  • You can change 'Melborne' to 'Melbourne'
  • You can change 'Apartment 1/527 Example Street' to 'Apt. 1/527 Example St'
• If the buyer only specified the city name, you can change it to the suburb name, provided this matches the postcode. For example:
  • You can change 'Sydney 2065' to 'Crows Nest 2065'

What you can't change

• You shouldn't edit the apartment or street number, street name or postcode – this would be considered a different address
• Don't edit or remove any codes added to the address by eBay, such as "ebay:12aB3cd" or "eCP:ABCD1234", as this may affect tracking and/or delivery of the order
