Free listings

We won't generally charge a fee to list an item, unless you choose an optional listing feature. Some limits and exclusions apply.

Most sellers on eBay.com.au get 250,000 free auction-style or fixed price listings per month, including relisted items and listings that are ended early.

Your number of free listings will be lower if your registration address is outside Australia, and some categories are excluded from free listings (see our category pricing list (PDF) - opens in new window or tab for details).

How it works

You generally won't be charged a fee when you list an item in auction-style or fixed price format. However, you will pay a final value fee when your item sells.
