Terms and Conditions
When does the Promotion run?
1. The promotion runs from 00:01 (AEST) on Monday 20th May 2024 for a limited time only, while eBay advertises the promotion on the eBay.com.au site (“Promotion Period”). eBay reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time.
What is the Promotion?
2. Eligible Sellers who sign up for an eBay Basic Store or Featured Store during the Promotion Period will have their store subscription fees waived for 6 months from the date of subscription (“Discount Period”). After the Discount Period, the subscription will automatically renew as a paid subscription. The relevant store subscription fees are set out on this page (“Monthly Subscription Fee”). 3. Eligible Sellers who participate in the promotion may cancel their Basic or Featured store subscription at any time during the Discount Period. If the store subscription is cancelled during the Discount Period, no other fees or charges for the store subscription will be incurred and all benefits will remain until the end of the next billing cycle. If you do not cancel your store subscription before the Discount Period has ended, your subscription will be automatically renewed and you will be charged the Monthly Subscription Fee.
4. eBay’s Store Subscription Terms of Service apply to all store subscriptions.
Who is eligible for this Promotion?
5. Only eBay sellers who:
-
do not have a current eBay store subscription;
-
have registered for eBay’s scaling program through this page (or through the link available at the end of these terms and conditions); and
-
are notified by eBay’s onboarding and scaling team via email that they are eligible,
will be eligible for this Promotion (“Eligible Sellers”).
6. This promotional offer is not transferable or exchangeable.
7. Members whose eBay accounts are temporarily or indefinitely restricted, suspended or made inactive prior to or during the Promotion Period, are not eligible for this promotion.
8. Eligible Sellers’ country of residence must be Australia or New Zealand.
What is excluded?
9. The promotion only applies to eBay Basic Store and Featured Store subscription fees, and does not apply to Anchor Store subscription fees or any other selling fees. All other standard fees and pricing as set out on eBay.com.au apply.
Miscellaneous
10. eBay’s User Agreement and other rules and policies continue to apply and are set out at: http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/overview.html.
11. eBay reserves the right to verify eligibility of sellers and listings to receive the promotional credit/discount. Persons who violate the terms of this promotion on eBay.com.au may not be eligible for future promotions on eBay.com.au.
12. To the extent permitted by law, eBay is not liable for any injury, loss or damage of any nature whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained as a result of or in connection with receiving, taking or using the promotional credit/discount.
13. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting the promotional credit/discount or in relation to qualifying listings is the responsibility of the seller.
14. eBay reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions at its reasonable discretion by publishing revised terms on ebay.com.au.
15. These Terms and Conditions will be construed in accordance with, and governed exclusively by, the laws of the State of New South Wales. Each party hereto expressly consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of New South Wales.
