When does the promotion run?

1. The Promotion runs from 00:00 (AEST) on Thursday 1 May 2025 to 18:45 (AEST) on Tuesday 20 May 2025 (“Promotion Period”).  

2. eBay reserves the right to cancel or change the Promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay’s reasonable opinion, make it necessary for its legitimate business purposes for it to do so.

Who is eligible for this promotion?

3. “Eligible Sellers” means sellers who:

• have Australia or New Zealand as their registered address on eBay.com.au (the “Site”);
• have a dispatch address that is a physical address (NOT a PO Box address) for eligibility of Sendle services; and
• sell and ship any item using the below shipping services, along with their corresponding weight and size limits, through eBay’s label platform during the Promotion Period:
  • Sendle 250g Parcel Pickup = 250g weight, 4L (4000cm3) max volume
  • Sendle 250g Parcel Drop Off = 250g weight, 4L (4000cm3) max volume
  • Australia Post Satchel Extra Small Satchel = up to 5kg in weight, 4.214L (4,214cm3) max volume (satchel size) 
    Note: The Australia Post Standard Extra Small Satchel service should only be chosen if you are sending items in the new Australia Post Extra Small Padded Mailers, available via Australia Post or eBay.

4. This promotional offer is not transferable or exchangeable.

5. The Promotion is linked to the eBay account under which it appears. Qualifying sellers must list using the User ID associated with that eBay account.

6. Sellers whose eBay accounts are temporarily or indefinitely suspended, made inactive or are subject to listing restrictions, or whose seller performance level is Below Standard, whether prior to or during the Promotion Period, are not eligible for this Promotion.

What is the promotion?

7. During the Promotion Period, Eligible Sellers will receive an extra 50% off the price of the shipping label for any item sold during the Promotion Period and shipped in accordance with the requirements set out in clause 3 above (“Promotion”).

For the avoidance of doubt, during the Promotion Period, the discount applies to shipping labels for items shipped using these 3 services and within the location, weight and size limits specified by these services:

a. Sendle 250g Parcel Pickup = 250g weight, 4L (4000cm) max volume

b. Sendle 250g Parcel Drop Off = 250g weight, 4L (4000cm) max volume

c. Australia Post Standard Extra Small Satchel = up to 5kg in weight, 4.214L (4,214cm3) max volume (satchel size)

8. For the avoidance of doubt, if a shipping label is cancelled, the discount will not apply to that shipping label. 

What exclusions apply?

9. The Promotion only applies to Sendle 250g postage services and Australia Post XS Satchel service on eBay’s labels platform only.

10. The Promotion does not apply to eBay’s Insertion Fees, Variables Fees, Fixed Fees or fees for optional features or services (including Feature Fees), international selling fees or any other fees set out at the Site, as varied from time to time.

11. This Promotion does not apply to listings in the following excluded categories: Businesses for Sale (11759), Aircrafts (63676), Boats (26429), Caravans/Motorhomes (32633), Cars (29690), Motorcycles (32073), Trucks/Commercial Vehicles (6049), Real Estate (10542), Services (316), Flights (3253), Tickets (1305), Travel (3252) and Vouchers/Gift Certificates (172008).

12. Listings that contravene eBay's policies or fail to comply with these terms and conditions are excluded.

13. You may be excluded from this Promotion if your eBay account is subject to listing restrictions, suspended, restricted or made inactive or if your seller performance falls to Below Standard prior to or during the Promotion Period.

General

14. Sendle Terms & Conditions apply when using the Sendle postage services. 

15. Australia Post Terms & Conditions apply when using Australia Post services.

16. eBay’s standard selling fees specified on the Site continue to apply.

17. eBay’s User Agreement and other rules and policies continue to apply and are set out at: http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/overview.html. Terms that are not defined in these Terms and Conditions have the meaning given to them in eBay’s User Agreement.

18. eBay reserves the right to verify eligibility of sellers and listings to participate in this Promotion. Persons who violate these Terms and Conditions may not be eligible for future promotions on the Site. eBay may disallow the participation of a particular seller at any time.

19. To the extent permitted by law, eBay is not liable for any injury, loss or damage of any nature whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained as a result of or in connection with receiving, taking or using the discount.

20. All monetary amounts referred to in these terms and conditions are in Australian dollars (AUD). 

21. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting the offer or in relation to qualifying listings is the responsibility of the seller.

22. eBay reserves the right, at its reasonable discretion, to vary these terms and conditions, or to cancel or change the offer at any time. eBay will only vary these terms and conditions, or cancel or change the offer where it determines, acting reasonably, that it is necessary to do so to prevent fraud, misuse or abuse of the offer, to correct any error or mistake, or where it is necessary to do so to protect eBay’s legitimate interests. Unless it is necessary to update these terms and conditions to correct a mistake or error, or to urgently cancel or change the offer such as in the case of fraudulent activity, eBay will provide 48 hours’ notice (“Notice Period”) by publishing revised terms on the Site. If you do not agree to the variation or change to the offer, you must cease participation in the offer during the Notice Period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any offer which does not have an end date specified at the time of launch or is promoted as a limited time only offer, will not have an indefinite duration and may be ended by eBay at any time. It is your responsibility to check whether an offer is still available before proceeding to purchase.

23. This Promotion is offered by eBay Marketplaces GmbH.

24. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the courts of New South Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising out of, or in connection to, these Terms and Conditions or this Promotion.
