Eligibility

The ProSeller Program is open to both Above Standard and eBay Top Rated Sellers who have been approved by eBay. This opportunity is available to business sellers who: 

  • Are registered on eBay.com.au
  • Have a Paid Pro subscription
  • Seller Performance Standards: At least Above Standard 
  • Have achieved a reasonable Gross Merchandise Value (GMV)* for their business, as determined by eBay, within the calendar year or the 12 months period preceding their request to join. For new business sellers that haven’t been selling on eBay for a calendar year or a 12 month period, it’ll be based on eBay’s forecast of their GMV over one calendar year, or a 12 month period.

Sellers must opt in and be accepted by eBay. By joining the program, you agree to commit to a minimum period of 3 months.

*Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) means the total value of all paid transactions between users on the eBay Site(s) during the applicable period inclusive of postage fees and applicable taxes.

  • How long does the eBay ProSeller program last?

    By joining the program, you agree to commit to a minimum period of 3 months.

  • What are the eligibility requirements to participate?
    • Be a business seller registered on eBay.com.au
    • Have at least Above Standard status (as defined in the seller standards policy)  and maintain it at all times during your participation in the program. 
    • Have achieved a reasonable Gross Merchandise Value (“GMV”), as set by eBay, within the last calendar year or the 12 months prior to your participation request. For new sellers without a year's sales history on eBay, eligibility is based on eBay's projected GMV for your first year or upcoming 12 months. GMV is the total value of all paid transactions between users on the site during the applicable period inclusive of shipping fees and taxes.
  • What happens once I apply for eBay ProSeller?

    Our team will review your application to check your eligibility and will get back to you with an update via email. If you’re eligible, we’ll then schedule a welcome conversation and take you through the first steps.

  • How often should I have calls with my growth advisor and how long will each call last?

    Your eBay ProSeller growth advisor will tailor support to your business needs. The call schedule will be at least one call per month, lasting 30-45 minutes. Your advisor will adjust the length if necessary.

  • Can I get support from my advisor if I have a restriction?

    If a restriction has been placed on your account, your eBay ProSeller advisor will help you identify the issue and work towards a resolution.

  • Can I get negative feedback removed by my growth advisor?

    Your eBay ProSeller growth advisor can’t remove feedback or defects. For such issues, please reach out to our Customer Service. 

  • How can I provide feedback on the eBay ProSeller program?

    At the end of the program, we'll send a satisfaction survey to gather your valuable feedback on our support program and your overall experience to help us improve the program. Feel free to share any feedback you have along the way with your eBay ProSeller growth advisor.
