FAQ

  • What is eBay’s delivery network?

Our delivery network is a domestic shipping service that brings together multiple carriers into one simple experience.

Behind the scenes, our system is powered by Orange Connex to connect you to a network of trusted carriers. When you choose to drop off your parcel or schedule a pickup, we automatically select the most cost-effective option based on your shipment, so you get great value and more convenience.

  • How do I buy a shipping label from this delivery network?

You can buy your shipping label on eBay when completing your sale. The option to buy a label from eBay Delivery Network will appear in your order flow.

  • When I find out which carrier from the network was chosen?

The carrier responsible for your shipment is identified once the shipping label has been generated. Our network, which is powered by Orange Connex, evaluates all available carrier partners in the network to select the most economical shipping option based on your specific parcel details.

  • What is the maximum size and weight I can send?

    Maximum dimensions

    Maximum volume: 48,000 cm3

    Maximum length: 105cm

  • Where can I drop off my parcel?

With more than 2,000 locations across Australia, you can easily find a nearby spot to leave your parcel. Visit our partner Orange Connex’s page to locate a drop-off point. Alternatively, you have the flexibility to schedule a home pickup at your convenience.

  • Can I schedule a pickup?

Yes. You can book a home pickup on a day that suits you. When you select the pickup option, you’ll be prompted to schedule which day you’d like your parcel to be picked up.

  • Do I need a printer for these labels?

Yes, you will need to print the label yourself if you choose to ship via our delivery network. We are working on making printer-free functionality available.

If you don’t have access to a printer, consider buying an Australia Post label on eBay and using the QR code option instead.

  • What support is available if something goes wrong?

When you buy a label on eBay, you benefit from additional protections:

    • For orders up to $750, we'll take care of any reports that an item hasn't arrived. We'll automatically respond to the buyer's report and you won't be responsible for providing a refund
    • For orders over $750, you'll still need to respond to the buyer's report and resolve the issue, which may mean providing a refund if the item doesn't arrive
    • We'll also remove the 'Item not received' from your service metrics and remove any negative or neutral feedback left for the transaction

The first step to resolving any issues would be to contact us.

  • What happens if a buyer reports that my shipment came damaged?

If a buyer reports that their item arrived damaged, they may open a request through eBay. As the seller, you are responsible for resolving the buyer's request in accordance with eBay policies.

If you believe the damage occurred during transit, you can submit a damage claim to our delivery network partner, Orange Connex, at AU.Delivery@OrangeConnex.com using the subject line:

    {Tracking Number} – {eBay Order ID} – DAMAGED

To support your claim, you will need to provide:

    • Photos of the outer packaging, including the shipping label showing the tracking numbe
    • Photos of the damaged item/content
    • Proof of value (e.g., your listing)

Please submit your claim as soon as possible after the parcel is delivered to the buyer and damage is reported, as carrier claim timeframes may apply. All damage claims are subject to Orange Connex's review and investigation.
