HTC HD Smartphone

I chose this smartphone rather than the Iphone or the Samsung Galaxy because of its 8 Megapixel camera, the ability to increase the microsd card and the battery. This is my first smartphone and I am finding more uses for it that I had considered when I purchased it. The only problem I have had so far is with Skype's Android software - but that has nothing to do with the smartphone itself.

I recently used it on holiday to take photos and videos and am very pleased with the results and ease of use. It was easy to set up to receive text and email messages.

It is an excellent product, which I highly recommend to others.

HTC HD mini Mobile Phone

I bought this phone because i wanted something that can do almost everything in one small phone for me.
Its a small and compact phone but it sure does pack a load of features such as HTC sence, Microsoft Office, Email, Fcaebook, Fast internet, Multitouch and 2 homescreens. It is pretty fast even if there are multiple applications open thanks to its 600mHz proccesser and a 384MB RAM. 3.5 mm stereo audio jack is very handy if you want to use different types of earphones/Headphones. The built in GPS is a very useful feature sometimes. Another feature i liked was the ability to use the phone as a Wi-Fi Router.
However there a few things i didnt like about this phone. The onscreen keyboard both landscape and normal have very small keys. This is because of the unwanted extra keys that have been added however the spell checker and auto corrector is very impressive. The phone has a 320 X 480 HVGA screen which is not imppressive at all. It is hard to make out small letters and numbers. The worst of all problems is the battery life. Standby time is 1 day and a half. HTC say its longer but trust me it aint.
This is all i can say for now but please check out other review sites where you can get more info.
I would recommend trying the phone for yourself before buying(Highly recommended)

Hope i Helped

HTC HD Mini

I have always been an HTC fan but my hero was HTC TyTnII. It worked flawlessly for the past three years. Now I shifted to HTC HD Mini. The most significant disadvantage is the keyboard. Writing an sms or changing the address is a pain, when compared to Tytn II. The battery itself isn't great and needs recharging every day. Finally it is quite sensitive to touch: if you have it running your GPS software, any wrong move will take you either to the home screen or telephone. I wish they would create a Tytn II with a faster processor and more ram. That would certainly be my selection.Read full review...

HTC MINI a disaster

I was very excited to get my hand on this long awaited smart phone.
I could not wait to open it to use it as I am always a fan of HTC and Windows combination.

To my pleasant surprise phone was beautiful, smart , sleek and nice aesthetically ....but it all changed as soon as I started using it...

Its so small that my finger wouldn't touch one icon at a time and it added to my frustration when I wanted to open one application but the wrong application would open on screen cause there is NO STYLUS in this phone ( YES YOU HEARD IT RIGHT) THERE IS NO STYLUS IN THIS PHONE so half of the time you end up opening and closing th clutter of wrong applications. and therefore understandably writing a text or putting user name or a password in a site is NIGHTMARE. you wish to bang it against a wall numerous times.
Second problem is, for some reason, it get very very hot underneath or behind the battery..I don't know it is the battery itself or the processor racing against the load of applications etc.

Goodluck with your experiment.

Top notch little PDA!

Having owned several PDAs (Dell Axim, O2 XDA, HTC Touch Diamond, HTC Touch Diamond 2), I've found they all have little things I would like to have changed - sadly, the HTC HD mini is no different, but it's probably the closest yet. Actually, it would probably have got that fifth bar and been rated excellent if I wasn't finding the touch screen (unbelievably) slightly too sensitive.

It's important for me that it has all of the Microsoft Office Mobile features (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint) making it a brilliant mobile business tool (I use it with a stowaway bluetooth keyboard and it is then indispensable!). Although there is the usual plethora of pointless applications, many (e.g. Google Maps, MP3 Trimmer) are extremely useful and I have found it extremely easy to install applications.

Most importantly, this is an item that bucks the trend to follow iPhone sizing - I've always hated having a slab of metal in plastic and metal in my pocket, so having a PDA that it the size and shape of a normal phone is a massive plus - even better, it is nice and slim, so I hardly notice it there in my pocket. Also a major benefit is that it hasn't gone the way of Blackberry by including a pointlessly small QWERTY keyboard.

As a phone, it feels excellent in the hand, and sounds really good - I'm finding the antenna is much better than an of my previous PDAs, which is good, and the screen is crisp and clear. That said, another minor irritation is that HTC have switched from the standard mini USB to a micro USB, meaning I have to get a bunch of new cables...

All in all, I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a well made, high quality and easy to use device with wonderful flexibility as a serious business tool.
