Easy Replacement Save Money
Bought a pair (L & R doors ) for 03 Mazda Protege.
Once installed, worked fine. Quick installation.
However, note that on the pair I was sent, the small plastic clips that hold in place the rod to the door latch, did not work as assembled. The clips were upside down and reversed for what was needed. They easily popped out and simply inserting them in the opposite handle assembly, fixed the problem. I don't know if this was a one time issue, but as sent, they would not hold the rod as designed.
With that adjustment, they work as intended and saved labor costs to have mechanic install.
A good video on you tube shows an overview that was helpful, although ultimately, it is a straight forward fix.Read full review...
