An awesome surprise to hear D.T. remake classic Elton J

I can't say enough good things about this disk. For starters, I am older, was a child of the 70's, so the songs that Dream Theater covers on this disk are songs that I grew up with and love even to this day. As far as technical brilliance and sheer capability its hard to match the perfection and sound of the metal/progressive rock masters who call themselves Dream Theater. Every track on this disk is flawless! By this and be prepared to be shocked at how great this sounds. I especially love their remake of the classic Elton John in tune from "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" "Funeral For a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding". Trust me, Dream Theater fan, or just classic rock fan you'll love this cd and find yourself playing it over and over and over and over again! GET IT!Read full review...

A GREAT SONG and COOL COVERS

Tis is proably my all time favorite Dream Theater Song.
Yes, in true Prog Fashion the EP in basically one song and a collection of live cover tunes highlighted by the Giant Medley featuring snips of Pink Floyd, The Dregs, Genesis, Queen, Kansas etc.

I bought it cause im a DT fan and any DT fan should have this if they don't, for those that dont know who DT is, you should still buy it cause the music is amazing, if you don't have a deep appreciation for music and like mostly mainstream music then this might be too much for you too handle, but you should definately give it a try.Read full review...
