not very bad phone for these money
Battery is good in comparison with other "smart"phones, but wants to be better.
Sometimes, there are some problems with typing of numbers - by default, one can type the letters of keyboard, and you should press and hold "Fn" key.
Microsoft didn't apgrade the Windows mobile service center in Win7 and Win8, so, this phone (with Windows mobile 6.1) cannot be connected to the computer. Also, there is no feature like "connect as mass storage device".
I wanted set other language then are presented in the list, but it is impossible without jailbraking (?) and loosing the guarantee.Read full review...
HTC Snap S521 Cell Phone - Good Phone, Bad Battery
The phone is a good size, slim and not too bulky for the pocket.
Roller ball works well, having step back to this phone from a touchscreen phone i am suitably impressed with the rollerball functioning
Software, Windows 6.5 as standards does what it should do with no issues.
Now to the bad points, the battery is absolutly rubbish, i am lucky to get 24 hours of battery life out of the phone, thats with only one or two short calls. The phone was new so i thought there may be an issue with the battery, but having read many forum posts, this appears to be the norm for this phone. Where they get the 500 hours of standby battery life in the specification i don't know.
Generally very good phone, but shame about the batteryRead full review...
lovely phone
This phone is the easiest phone to use. The screen and display are superb, both the design and the functionality of the phone are excellent. First class phone, recommended!!
