Great replacement motor!

I purchased this as a replacement for a 10 year old GE motor. There are a few differences that I had to figure out, and a few things that I am not impressed with, but overall it is a good deal. First, the motor brackets fit perfectly! The shaft was correct and easy to install the fan to. This had more wires than my GE did so I had to figure out which ones to use. I am not an electrician, but it was not too hard to figure out. The wires also seem to be much smaller than the ones from the GE, but I think that GE just used thicker insulation and the wire gauge is the same. This does not include the starting capacitor. If your old one is not the same, you need to purchase one separately.
In all it took about 30 minutes to replace my old motor with this one!Read full review...
