Well Done Movie But It's Not the Book
This is a "lost gem" as far as older movies go and I would highly recommend it. It has some great stars and excellent acting. It depicts what happens following an air crash and the subsequent investigation as to why it crashed. It usually boils down to two options "Pilot Error" or "Mechanical". In this enjoyable movie we see the tendency to simply blame it on the pilot's shortcomings since it is the quickest and easiest way to explain the dilemma faced by the airline. But as we see, that is not always the way to the real truth behind the crash. Recommended.Read full review...

Great film classic.
Great movie from 1964 with good performances by Glenn Ford, Suzanne Pleshette, Nancy Kwan and Rod Taylor to name a few. Interesting tale of a downed airliner and the cause of the crash.
Written by Ernest Gann who also wrote Island In The Sky and The High And The Mighty, both John Wayne classics. Highly recommended.Read full review...

I am a Glen Ford fan and I have not seen this movie with him in it. That is why I bought it. I only buy blue Ray DVD's or 4K only. Sixty four + dollar
