Need Power transformer input socket.
Would be better if you cold plug in power 4.5 v transformer /saver. To be supplied with the transformer would be better. Batteries do not last long enough. Takes bit of setting up when you need 2 m space in front of a car to walk. The settings 1- 4 m would be better. Light cord display light is just long enough needs a hooking hole and or a tab. Good product once you get used to it.
I got mine a week ago. The product is quite well packaged with an elaborate instruction manual. Though I was unable to find a removable tape which is mentioned in there.
Moving on, it got a little tricky initially where if u park and stop just as soon as the light changed to red, the u it keeps flickering between red and yellow. It's unable to judge if the car is still moving closer or static. The unit was flickering randomly even after the car was parked. So had to get back in and position the car to ensure my batteries don't run off with all the unwanted flickers.
May require you to park the car exactly with the unit at the centre of your bumper.
Rest it's quite helpful once you start trusting it. A power adaptor is highly recommended developers!! Maybe a workaround is to buy one from Jaycar and connect 2 ends to the first battery negative and last battery positive terminals. Just make sure you maintain the right polarity. But again I have not tried it or recommend. Just an idea if you are keen.Read full review...

It works as expected except the range when set to 30cm it's actually aroun 40 or slightly more which ddn't work very well in my situation but I'm still using it.
