Snap-On FL830 ratchet wrench

The 830 model rat are alittle older than what is currently offered. The 830's were 90's rats. They were actually Snap-On's first ever ratchet to offer a completely sealed ratchet head to "keep grease in and dirt out", all had a 30 tooth gear with a two tooth per side engagement pawl, and also offered an actual screw attached selector as opposed to their traditional peened pin style selectors offered in the previous models. This allows for easy selector replacement if the selector were to become broken or damaged. The only issue that I have with the 830 model rats is their super long spring...alittle too long in my opinion. I would trim between 2 to 3 coils away to make the spring a bit shorter. This softens the action perfectly and allows for easier selector operation when changing selector direction.
