Good book for general toddler problems

Clever book worked well for my 2yo, still practicing some of Jo's discipline ideas (have it for a few months now).
Good help for dad, too.
Would have loved more details about toddler fears.
It helped me to get back on the right/ easier track though.
I like being a mum again.

Gold!

I have two young boys that have very developed imaginations! They aren't naughty as such, however, a routine and how to introduce it was what I needed. Just the guiding hand that I needed with my two boys. Great job as always, Jo Frost.Read full review...

5* Clear, decisive, informative, sensitively written and very easy to read

I love this book, it is clear, decisive, very informative and very easy to read without being condesending.

I bought it for my Son & Daughter-in-Law who are very impressed with it.

Feeling inadequate with some of their parenting skills they want to make sure they bring up a well adjusted and behaved child, using innovative ways to deal with my forward, strong minded Grandson.

From to dealing with the general everyday disciplining of him and his tantrums, to getting the best out of his nature.

I 'previewed' the book first! We all like the way she puts her plans, ideas and suggestions in easy read 'dip in' panels and 'tip' boxes.

Jo Frost treats the reader sensitively and with respect, using all the extensive knowledge she has gained from child caring to parents questions and fears, to pass on to the reader.

She raises and answers all the fears and questions about bringing up children that we as parents feel too stupid to voice.
Whether it is suffering the fears of our own inadequacies as parents, being judged by others, how to cope, questioning what am I doing wrong? etc etc or being at our wits end wondering what to try next.
And very importantly she explains the differences in the type of child you have ie: strong minded child and why certain strategies are needed. Jo takes you through your fears step by step.

She re-affirms what she advises and explains why it is so important to follow the strategy in order for it to work.
It is also brilliant for boosting confidence, almost as if she is in the room with you.

Her methods work! An extremely good buy and thoroughly recommended whether you just want a solid approach to child rearing, new techniques or if you are at your wits end, this book will be very useful.

The best book on child care I have seen, I would have found these techniques very useful bringing up my own and when I was working with young children!

Excellent book for a toddler parent! The absolute must-have!

Jo Frost's Confident Toddler Care has answers to most questions that a parent of a toddler could have. Some of the answers are very extensive and some shorter, but yet sufficient. All in all the book is probably the best toddler care book I have seen. It's the absolute must-have! If I had had a book like this about babies (Also this exists I now know.) our baby time would have been easier.Read full review...
