Perfect fit!
This is a perfect fit for my 16 qt. Presto canner. Just take the old one out and drop this one in it's place. Super easy fix. This is the second one I've bought. The first one was purchased in 2014 and gave me 4 good years of service before it started to shrink and have a loose fit. In a normal year I'll can over 1,000 jars of food so for someone that doesn't can as much food, it should last even longer.Read full review...
A good value
It comes in the box all twisted up and makes you wonder whether the thing will ever flatten out. But if you follow the directions and put it into the cover carefully, it works like it should. It sealed up first time. It is a great value to extend the life of a good pressure cooker. Plus the little valve is easy to replace. Read full review...

Thought it was too big fits perfect
Thought it was too big when it came but had to really push in & push back using my fingers to get it in the slot. The other problem we had was that the old seal was so stuck & brittle. Every bit of that old seal had to be out. It took needle nose & screw drivers to scrape it all out. Canned afterwards & works perfect. Read full review...

Exactly what I needed.
This is the exact product I needed to replace a missing seal on a vintage pressure cooker. It really takes some work to get these things installed (no fault of the seller) It is hard to install because it is a seal that must fit TIGHT to hold in pressure and moisture. Take your time and be patient on installation so you don't ruin the fit by overstretching.Read full review...

Presto gasket
It is a standard gasket, but golly gee, it was quite a challenge to install. Took many tries and lots of patience to finally get it in place. Almost gave up on several occasions, but perseverance prevailed. Do not look forward to ever changing this gasket again. Once I got it in, it was all good. Read full review...

Some say install was easy/hard
It is a really tight fit. Needed to scrub out the grove till it shines (used steel wool). Then lots of cooking oil. Working it in as I went around and around, maybe two or three times, but after about two minutes-in it popped.

It is a good seal.
It came as advertised and at a fair price. I will not be able to use it until next canning season, but I am confident from previous experiences with this company that it will work just fine.

seal for presto cooker.
Put the seal on the lid with ease. The seals that people have trouble installing could be an
aftermarket seal. They should always use presto parts on their presto cookers/caners.
I can't check the durable block as i haven't used the caner yet.Read full review...

Worked good on our National 7A.
Fit great on a old national #7 pressure canner. Can't say about durability but I expect great durability from presto gaskets.
