DT-175 Yamaha service manual report...
This item arrived in perfect condition in a plastic wrapper... It has already been read and referred-to - several times.... However, the wiring diagram for my machine ('78 DT-175E) , was in error in 3 places... I.E. - The engine oil tank level warning circuit has wiring in parallel with the neutral lamp circuit... They should have been on separate circuits... And one of the circuits going through the headlamp switch was incorrectly drawn on the diagram... The Y/W and the white wires coming out of the headlamp on/off switch that control the high and low output from the lighting/charging coils - which go to the rectifier and the regulator are shown to be incorrectly wired in this diagram... If there are tsb's for this motorcycle , these might have been some issues... Take note rebuilders, especially if you're having problems with the charging systems, on these fine machines....Read full review...
