Great upgrade
Replaced the tired ignition system on my 1986 Dodge W150 with 318. Was able to remove all the smog gear and the old ECM that controlled timing. Strong starts with plugs at .045. Gave 4 stars because the module in distributor was bad initially. I chased this issue for 3 weeks before I narrowed it down to the module. CRT sent me a new one no charge and it fixed all my issues. 12 deg initial advance giving me 35 total mechanical. vac advance is now working as it should. for now very satisfied with the results. 318 has headers, performer rpm/air gap, and 750 Holley.Read full review...

good wires bad application
These are nice heavy wires, and connectors. spark plug connectors too long and touch next spark plug, wires are cut generously making for a lot of extra wire and wires touching in many places. These are specifically made for mopar small block but are red instead of hemi orange. Shipping was quick and the price was reasonable. The HEI distributor wiring was terribly planned and I had wires running over the top of the distributor going to the opposite side of the motor. 1983 D250 with 318CID
A little tight but fit just fine. I needed this truck dependable for the customer as the stock system is full of potential problems and was leaving him on the side of the road. With the extra spark, I can just bump the starter and it fires up instantly. Runs smooth and there is a noticeable improvement in throttle response.
