Superluxe - the best headphones for the price hands down without a doubt - the BEST !
Killer headphones . these are my 3rd set of this brand SUPERLUX . i have hd330 and hd671 sets here and more recently i ordered a set of 668b cans from them . The sound quality is exceptional , i can hear quite a difference between the kick drum and the bass - never heard that on headphones , also the highs are tamed a bit on this set compared to the hd671 which have an abundance treble. the hd681 evo set came with a short cable and a loong cable which was thoughtful to inclube both .the real delight was the inclusion of an extra set of velour ear pads . typically i order these seperate and that is an additional 10 -15 dollar purchase .the fact that these cam WITH those was really nice extra . These are some GREAT headphones , i love this brand . mind you i have been down this road with many purchases of brands like sony beyerdynamic , sennhieser akg etc . i am a musician and we use them for monitoring for rehersals thru a headphone amp set up , for reccording in tracking and mixing for rough mixes . superlux is the only brand i purchase anymore . i can not recomend these any more . i built an EQ and a headphone amp from ebay circuit boards . i use burr brown op amp ic chips in the amp . the sound quality with all three of these elements -the superlux cans , the eq and the amp - i hit a level of sound quality i never knew was real . absolutely mind blowingly great sound . i am a life long headphone user too . wow !Read full review...

Superlux 681 EVO
I recently purchased these headphones and I couldn't be happier. You could say I have a champagne ear with a beer budget! The Superlux 681 EVO gives me that amazing audiophile sound at an amazingly affordable price range. I've listened to many of my favorite cds again and the sound is wonderful.
