Replaced an adjustable peddle type with this fixed type.
A 2001 Excursion had the eclectically adjustable peddles (brake and accelerator) The accelerator peddle went bad and would have cost $650 -$750 for the part alone. Although there is a claim that a fixed accelerator (this part) can't be substituted - it worked fine on ours -saving about $600!! . I found the original had a 4K ohm sensor and the fixed one has a 2 K one but it didn't matter as the wiper just pick up a percentage of the 5 volts (like 1 to 3 volts) in both cases.Read full review...
