Better than original
The Electrolux converter is great for me to use with all standard attachments, and the turbo head is a better than the original electrolux one. It has easy removable click off sections for cleaning and accessing the impellor. Instantly picked up heaps more dust dirt and mountains of hair off carpet i just vaccuumed many times with the standard head. Highly recommendedRead full review...

Noisy, hard to clean and unreliable.
It worked okay for about a week, but makes a much, much louder spinning noise than the original Miele part. We cleaned the hair out of it after every use. You can't remove the roller, just the cover, so removing hair is a tedious process, you have to cut the hair away from the roller with scissors and remove it by hand. After a week, the roller part started making a screeching sound when in use. No amount of cleaning stopped it making the sound. The roller isn't held in with a proper bearing, the quality of the roller assembly is extremely poor.
It is now unusable after only a week, due to the screaming noise, and it is obvious from the build quality that it won't last long. I'd avoid this and buy the model without the 'turbo' function.Read full review...

Excellent upgrade to an older Vac

It works... Just don't expect to much with it
It fits my vacuum with the supplied adapter. It doesn't roll on carpet so I tried it on a thinner and a thicker surface. Still didn't roll. It does the job, just don't expect to much with hair or small bits of cotton etc.
Wasn't happy that it was delivered unwrapped not even in a post bag. Could have caused possible damage to the item as it was only in it's thin cardboard display box.Read full review...

Really disappointed.
I bought this solely after reading the reviews about how good it was, and I'm bitterly disappointed. I have a DC54 and needed a new carpet head but didn't really want to spend the $130 for a genuine one. Wish I had now, because this was just money down the drain. (And yes, my vacuum is fine, filters cleaned, etc etc, works perfectly well with the other heads I have)

Waste of money, useless for pet hair
Fits on our vacuum easily, the impeller makes the brush bar spin fine, even against the resistance of carpet - however it just seems to move the small dog hairs around rather than pick them up. Indeed our old suction only head that came with the vacuum works better!
We've plugged it onto an old Barrel Vax with variable suction so it can't be that it is being spun too hard to too slow as we've tried varying the speed & there's no change to actual pet hair pick-up performance, just the speed the bar spins changes as you'd expect.
