Wrong valve
This valve is for the high pressure side use only. I thought I was buying the low pressure valve. There seems to be innumerable vendors carrying the high pressure valves but not carrying the low pressure valves. All of my local auto parts stores only have the high pressure valves in their computer inventories. What's with that? Why are low pressure valves so scarce? They are by far the most used valves since refrigerant is put into the system using the low pressure valves. Very frustrating.Read full review...

Requires a special 8 point socket, but it is not tight...a vise gripe works fine to remove/install as long as you bleed the pressure off first.
