Johnny Horton at his Best !!!
Johnny Horton's storied but brief career in the music industry is well noted ! His song "The Battle of New Orleans" was the number #1 song on both the country & pop charts for the entire year 1959. This CD set includes that songs along with many other top 40 hits of his career. The sound quality is great on this Japanese mini-LP version which you could say is a greatest hits package. Unfortunately Johnny was killed in a car accident in 1960 cutting short what looked to be a promising career in the music industry ! Highly recommended !!Read full review...
