As good as any acoustic on the market and better than most.
After purchasing new, I had the guitar set up by an expert to the low action which suits my style of playing. Result was a guitar that has the best acoustic sound that I've heard- and I've been playing for 60 odd years. Not suitable for fingerstyle unfortunately, unless you have very small fingers. A bonus is that with the solid wood top and bottom the sound will just get better.
