Can't update this model for the specifics I wanted it for

I discovered after purchasing the Samsung Galaxy tab 2 was an older model of tablet which meant I couldn't update the tablet to the specifications I intended it for, when reading the listing I had expectations for it once I had bought it. I don't play on line games and I wanted to install an updated version of you tube to listen to music (this wasn't possible as the system was out of date) I also wanted to download an e-mail app but this Samsung model wasn't capable as it has old software The only thing about it was the bbc news was downloaded on to it but if you are purchasing an older model of a tablet one doesn't know the specifics of its capabilities until one turns it on. one plus side it had an energy saving feature so this was the only thing I was impressed by. Basic tablet.. Obviously not the best with it being 5years old

It's a lovely tablet but quite basic and can be slow at times.. Great for watching YouTube videos and quite fast with good picture quality but watching tv shows on showbox the quality isn't the best, battery life is ok, my main dislike is the 1gb of ram which is 80% used with 3 downloaded apps.. Storage can be expanded to 32 GB with an sdcard.. Would recommend to anyone wanting a cheap tablet for social networking and watching YouTube videos on but wouldn't recommend to anyone that needs it for work/blogging or anything else work related.. working fine now but it struggled to access the download of 98 hrs of audio book, took 6 or 7 mins. to get started.

I'm very happy with my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1". It gells well with my Galaxy S 3, but also worked well with my Sony Xperia. Just has the bonus of Samsung Apps if you have 2 Samsung Android products.
