Best Art-NET to SPi adapter

2 of these units have been installed into a client's property to control 7 channels of SPi LED halos (built into each room's pictures rail)

The shortest distance from this controller to a length of 12v SPi (3 chips per channel) is 3 metres, whereas the longest run is over 20metres.

Each cable run was done with 2.5mm flex.

The standard Firmware provides Art-NET to SPi output, however I requested a special firmware to permit much slower HTTP requests to set the pixels, so that I could interface the units with www openremote com home automation (or any other that supports HTTP).

Should the client wish to have a wild party, it is an easy switch back to Art-NET control.
