Excellent upgrade from onboard wifi chip
I'm running win 10 pro on an older toshiba laptop (originally configured for vista). The onboard wifi adapter just wasn't adequate for my wifi connection. I decided to take a chance on this Belkin unit because it seemed to be an affordable option. Well I was right! I thought it a little strange that the disc selected The Win 7 drivers on installation but this is not unusual as I have had other devices that employ the Win7 drivers which work well this and other deskto devices. Teh Connectivity has improved by almost double the speed.
If you need to upgrade your computer wifi and don't need the speed or the additional expense of an N 600, I pwhole heartedly recommend this device.Read full review...

I have another Belkin WiFi dongle but it's over 5 years old. I bought the same kind and hoped that it would work well and it does. I live in a small house but I have a lot of WiFi bouncing around in here and it does the job. I only wish I would have bought the low profile Belkin instead. Plugged it in and installed the software and this thing works great. Been using it for over a week and it has great signal. Being a resident elevator mechanic my Parts room/ office is not wired for the internet and the building WIFI is under very heavy security so I am not privy to the service.

Did not Work on my Windows 10 after 2 weeks.
Worked for a couple of weeks on my Windows 10 then quit, Called Customer Support they said it was not supposed to work on Windows 10 and there were no Drivers to make it work????
