Good teenage boy book. Will get them reading.

Do you have a teenage boy who you wish would read more? If so then seriously consider Robert Muchamore's Cherub series of novels. My 15 yr old loves them. The biggest problem is he reads them in 2 days and is looking for more. All this from a boy who wouldn't look at a novel. His reading has improved and his spelling ability has lifted. This series of books could be the material your teenager identifies with. The writing is engaging with a style that teenagers will find enjoyable. The stories are great with one book leading into the next. Start with book one which sets the story up and if it's a hit them you will have no problems thinking of gifts or treats for your teenager. Parents will find no inappropriate content and your teenager will not feel like they are reading a kids book. This series strikes that balance. The series involves kids from generally disadvantaged backgrounds being recruited as secret agents. It's a theme that kids can fantisise about and identify with. At an average of $15 each on Ebay they don't break the budget. It will be a sad day when this author hangs up his pen. I recommend you give this author a chance as there is a good chance he will become a favorite.Read full review...
