Didn't live up to it's claims for me.

I attempted to oxidise some WWI AIF Rising Sun badges and Australia Titles. While there was undoubtedly some darkening the black 'patina' this product promised never eventuated despite rigorous cleaning of the badges and following the recommended actions step by step - twice. Even bathing the badges in the sulfer/water mix for a longer period than recommended made no difference to the outcome.

It may work better for others, on different metallic materials but to me it was a waste of money and an hour of my time.

It wasn't a huge investment so if you're trying to get something with a nice patina and are experimenting and want to give it a try buy the smallest bottle available.Read full review...
