It still plays well today and I recommend it to retro game lovers.

1996 was an epoch-making year for video games: I remember Super Mario 64, Wipeout 2097, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Duke Nukem 3d and, of course, Diablo. The Blizzard game unleashes sparkling memories for those who have had the opportunity to play it on PC. The Playstation edition, released two years later (1998), went rather quietly and media devotion discovered rather casually. Despite having some cuts in the animations and graphics constantly played downwards, it maintains the atmosphere of Diablo unaltered and a good right can consider a hidden gem in the catalog of Playstation 1, as well as the only existing console edition. The controls have undergone an adaptation for the pad with two game possibilities, one for beginners and another more complex that is worth learning to enjoy all the nuances that this edition offers. Among the strengths is a two-player multiplayer mode. Finally, I recommend setting the game speed "fast" from the options since it eliminates the hiccup effect of the animations.Read full review...
