Great purchase to improve your pro 3 or 4's connectivity
I brought the docking station to increase my Surface Pro 4's connectivity, and it's been great so far. There have been no issues with charging, and each of the extra ports works well. I would certainly recommend the docking station to anyone looking for a better setup at home or office.Read full review...

Does not work
Purchased this item approx two weeks ago unfortunatly did not realise it did not include the power supply having now obtained a power supply I am unable to get the Docking station to power the surface. I have checked the power supply this is fine can get power from the USB connections. Have tried the surface with another docking station no problem but when using the Surface in the Docking Station it will not power the Surface. I guess it is the connection in the Docking station that has the problem.

Well made item that includes multiple USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, audio, mini display port, Ethernet and power. Allows quick and easy connection/disconnection and holds the screen at a good angle.
I didn't realise at first, but the dock slides open, by grasping and pulling both sides outwards... once your Surface Pro 3 is seated correctly, the sides can be closed to dock and hold it securely.Read full review...

More robust than the chargers!
We found that the chargers for the Surface break very easily. We’ve only had the dock for a couple of days but it certainly looks as if it will be more robust - fingers crossed!

Better than the brick
If like me you hate wiring with a passion then this is the dock for you. Nothing to plug in. Takes up little room on your desk and just place your Surface in the cradle and gently push home the clamshell. Designed for Surface Pro 3 this only works with an adaptor plate with the Pro 4. These were available free from Microsoft at one point a while ago but may not be tha case now.Read full review...
