Lighthearted and fun.

This is a typical Elvis movie with a simple plot and plenty of songs. It's lighthearted and fun, I bought it because, as well as enjoying these Elvis movies, I'm interested in boats and there are some good scenes (if a bit simplified) of boats, water skiing and boat racing. The scenery around Miami is appealing too and the characters (men and the ladies) engaging. Bill Bixby does a great job as the 'rich villain' and Shelley Fabares is perfectly cast as the girl, Will Hutchins also good as Elvis' 'alter ego' in the old but always good situation of swapped rich-man poor-man roles (with Elvis).
